Here are the rules for the Hip-Pop Palace Forums.

1. Above all else, IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE ACTIVE, DO NOT JOIN!

Joining the forums means supporting the site, leaving your account sitting there is a waist of registration. I've decided recently to delete inactive accounts that have made no posts every year on the sites' anniversary on May 22. I WILL take this rule very seriously.

And even if you do join, don't tell yourself 'the next person' will start member conversations so this forum is actually ACTIVE, because that never happens and that's how accounts get abandoned, inactive, and in this case, DELETED.

2. no spamming

3. no off-topic discussion (except in Spam forums, that's why I put it there)

4. no flame-wars. Especially artist vs. artist flame wars or competitions. Any sight of such will be immediately deleted. Especially Namie's rivalry with Ayumi Hamasaki. I, personally, like both, and if you were really Queen Namie's fans you wouldn't bash other artists her label forced her to rival with because it made them more money. Besides, they're both in Avex, does it make much sense, anyway?

5. no bashing or disrespecting other members, if your not going to cooperate, you're better off not here at all. I know there are people out there who try to smart off by making their 'I'm better/smarter/more mature than you' rants/comments calm and collected. They try to make it polite by saying 'please stop' with some touch of the 'I'm rolling my eyes, here' vibe. Please, none of that.

If I catch you, depending how deep it's gotten or how many times you have did it, your punishment will vary from a week-long ban to deleting your account.

6. It a REQUIREMENT to use PROPER SPELLING. I'm not a grammar snob, but I cannot STAND chatspeak. Please, spell out your words, or the members will be split into nose-in-the-air 'mature' types and eyesore chatspeak-using types who use the 'it saves time typing' excuse for using it. Please, I get enough of that in...other places. (don't ask)

7. Please don't 'cry' when you are banned and you don't know why. Either keep it in a PM conversation or don't say anything. We admins do this for a reason.

8. No bashing Queen Namie (Of course, this is a given)

Or your head will be chopped off! (or your IP address just banned permanently)
